Love my new Yacht Model!

Got the Yacht Model and it's even better in person! The craftsmanship is fantastic and it looks amazing on my desk. Seriously impressed with how quickly it shipped, too. I'm already thinking about my next purchase. Definitely shopping here again and telling all my friends about Tesaut Models!

Good value on a cool model

I was looking for a decent model and saw Tesaut Models had a sale going on, so I decided to check it out. I picked up a World War II Aircraft Replica, the P-51 Mustang. With the holiday discount, it was a pretty good deal compared to other places I checked. Shipping took 6 days to reach New York, which was fine. The model itself is well-made for the price I paid, definitely felt like I got my money's worth. I'd consider buying from them again, especially if there's another sale.

Got my Helicopter Model

Just got the Helicopter Model I ordered. It looks pretty good, the wood feels solid. Packaging was well done, no damage or anything. It took about a week to get to my place in Florida, which is standard I guess. Easy enough to order from their site. Overall, a smooth experience.

Another great airplane model

I ordered a Stealth Bomber Model this time, and it arrived quickly, about 4 days to my door in California. The detail on the mahogany is consistent with the other models I've bought from Tesaut. This is my fifth order, and they always deliver good quality. It's why I keep coming back for more additions to my collection.

Just found out about Tesaut. Are their models actually made of real wood or is it like, composite stuff? Always skeptical about 'wood' claims online.

S Sarah Kaur 2 months ago

Nah, they're legit mahogany. You can smell it when you unbox it, and the grain is all natural. Super nice quality.

G Greg Torres 2 months ago

Can confirm, definitely real mahogany. The one I got for my dad feels really solid and has that nice wood look. Not some cheap plastic disguised as wood.

Has anyone actually had to return a model to Tesaut? Like if it arrived damaged or something. Was it a hassle?

A Andre Lindqvist 3 months ago

My buddy had a small piece broken off a wing once. They replaced it no problem, he just had to send a pic.

My experience was fine. Had a battleship arrive with a tiny chip. Contacted them, they were quick to respond and sent a replacement with a return label for the damaged one. No fuss.

I'm looking at getting a couple models. Can I stack a newsletter sign-up discount with, say, a holiday sale code? Or is it one coupon per order kinda thing?

B Beth Doyle 2 months ago

AFAIK, it's usually one code per order. Most sites are like that these days.

T Tom 2 months ago

I tried stacking a first-order discount with a clearance item once and it only let me use one. So I'm pretty sure you can only use one coupon at a time when checking out.

Hey, thinking about getting one of their custom airplane models. Anyone know how long those usually take from order to delivery? Want to get it for a birthday next month.

K Kate Torres 2 months ago

From what I remember, the custom ones can take a bit longer. I think they say a few weeks at least? Probably best to order with plenty of lead time.

N Nina Z. 2 months ago

Yeah, I ordered a custom fighter jet last year. It took almost a month and a half to get to me, so if it's for a specific date, you might want to reach out to them directly about the turnaround time for custom jobs. They're good though, totally worth the wait.

Are there always free shipping deals going on, or is that just sometimes? I'm in California.

K Kevin 2 months ago

Pretty sure domestic shipping is always free. I've ordered a few times and never paid for shipping to Texas.

A Amber T. 2 months ago

Yep, free shipping for US orders is standard. You don't usually need a code or anything for it. Just adds automatically.
